Healthy Homes
It is a joint effort aimed at improving the health and quality of life of Guatemalans living in extreme poverty through an alliance in which, in addition to Fundación Bi, Cementos Progreso, Habitat for Humanity Guatemala, Banco Industrial, Corporación Multi Inversiones, USAID and Global Communities participate.
According to the National Population Census and VII Housing Census (2018) 26.5% of homes in Guatemala face a qualitative deficit and dirt floors are directly related to the existence of parasites, bacteria, gastrointestinal and respiratory diseases, feeding the vicious circle of health and poverty.
This program fights against diseases resulting from precarious conditions, promoting the nutrition and well-being of the communities most affected by the qualitative housing deficit in Guatemala.
