The Ninth Edition of ScaleUp arrives in the Department of Guatemala
Fundación BI is now accepting applications for the ninth edition of its High-Growth Companies Program – ScaleUp, an intensive five-month business training program designed to support small and medium-sized companies in their strategic, profitable, and sustainable growth process.
Call for applications open until April 5, 2026.
This edition will take place in the department of Guatemala and seeks to select between 15 and 20 companies with high growth potential that wish to strengthen their business model, optimize their internal structure, and accelerate their commercial results.
Proven results in Guatemala
Since its implementation in 2019, ScaleUp has generated concrete results in the Guatemalan business ecosystem:
- 90 participating companies
- 30% average growth in sales at the end of the program
- 7,900 new customers generated
- 505 new jobs created
- 462 new or improved products or services
- US$14 million in new investment mobilized
Program methodology and differentiation
ScaleUp is the first program of its kind in the region, with a methodology developed by professors from Harvard and Babson College, world-renowned universities in business education.
The program integrates practical tools focused on the three key pillars of business growth:
- Customers: business strategies and market expansion
- People: team building and leadership
- Box: Financial structure, profitability, and cash flow
- Immediate implementation: a practical approach from the very first session
Over the course of five months, participating entrepreneurs receive support from facilitators and mentors with extensive corporate and business experience, promoting applied and measurable learning.

Requirements to apply
Interested companies must meet the following criteria:
- Be formally established in Guatemala
- Report sales exceeding US$100,000 in the last year
- Have at least 3 years of operation
- Having a consolidated work team
Investment and application process
The investment per company is US$3,000, with payment facilities available.
