With the goal of expanding access to higher education, the Bi Foundation strengthened its partnerships with two of the country’s most renowned universities, creating opportunities for young people who have demonstrated a consistent commitment to their academic education.

At the Universidad del Istmo, the foundation became a benefactor of the Faculty of Health Sciences Scholarship Fund to support students in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program. In total, 25 scholarships were awarded, covering 65% of tuition for students who maintain outstanding academic performance, with a grade point average above 70 points.

This degree program combines scientific rigor with a deeply humanistic education, preparing professionals who are capable of meeting both the needs of hospitals and those of communities that require close and committed care.
